2. CT Scans

- Nuclear stress test: We’ll evaluate your heart’s electrical rhythm and blood circulation while you’re under slight pharmacological stress, such as walking on a treadmill.
- Myocardial viability PET scan: If you recently experienced a heart attack or have an existing heart condition, a myocardial viability PET scan will help us identify any damage to your heart muscle.
- PYP amyloidosis scan: Amyloidosis is a rare disease that causes a buildup of proteins in one or more organs. A pyrophosphate (PYP) amyloidosis scan uses single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging that allows our radiologists to see which organs are affected in the early stages of the disease.
